The slats of the louvre roof are arranged in an overlapping pattern. When closed, the louvre roof directs water into the internal gutters thanks to a slight integrated slope. From there, the water flows through the columns and is finally drained to the ground. The roof thus provides effective waterproof protection.

The pergola has been tested for wind loads up to a strength of 11 on the Beaufort scale (equivalent to approximately 68 mph / 110 km/h), which corresponds to a hurricane-force storm. For wind speeds exceeding this limit, we recommend opening the slats of the louvered roof to minimize wind pressure. In addition, the louvered roof is statically designed for a snow load of up to 12.3–16.4 lb/ft² (50–60 kg/m²), which corresponds to approximately 30–49 inches (75–125 cm) of powder snow. For higher snow loads, the louvers should remain open so that the snow can slide through.

The pergola is only available in the dimensions 3x3m, 3x4m, 4x4m, 3x5m and 4x6m. These fixed standard dimensions allow us to offer first-class quality at an affordable price, as individual production would not be economical. The standard dimensions fit most customer needs and allow multiple pergolas to be combined – for example, two 4x4m pergolas for an area of 8×4 meters. This flexibility makes it possible not to cover the entire patio but to highlight specific areas, making the pergola not only a practical covering but also a stylish design element.

The pergola is available exclusively in the sizes 3×3 m (≈10×10 ft), 3×4 m (≈10×13 ft), 4×4 m (≈13×13 ft), 3×5 m (≈10×16 ft), and 4×6 m (≈13×20 ft). These fixed standard sizes allow us to offer top-quality pergolas at an affordable price, as custom-made options would not be economically feasible. The standard sizes meet most customer needs and also allow multiple pergolas to be combined—for example, two 4×4 m (≈13×13 ft) pergolas can be joined to cover an 8×4 m (≈26×13 ft) area. This flexibility lets you highlight specific areas of your terrace rather than covering the entire space, making the pergola not only a practical shelter but also a stylish design element.

The column height cannot be adjusted at the factory. However, you can adjust the height of the pergola yourself by shortening the columns and then drilling two new holes for the bracket that connects the column to the foundation.
